You Might Be a Teacher If...

Let's be real — being a teacher comes with a very specific set of quirks. Whether it's instinctively answering questions in your "teacher voice" outside of school, or finding mystery glitter on your face days after a craft project, there are just some things only fellow educators truly understand.
That's why we're launching a new blog and social media series called:
"You Might Be a Teacher If..."
Each post will celebrate those relatable, hilarious, heartfelt, and downright ridiculous moments that make teaching a unique adventure. Because let's face it — no one gets it quite like another teacher.
🎤 Here's Where You Come In!
We want to hear your stories. Think of it as a little staff room therapy — no grading required.
Share your best "You Might Be a Teacher If..." moments with us! Whether it's:
- Funny: "You might be a teacher if you've used a glue stick as chapstick… more than once."
- Heartwarming: "You might be a teacher if you cried over a handmade card written in crayon."
- Frustratingly relatable: "You might be a teacher if you've mastered the art of eating an entire lunch in under 6 minutes—with one eye on a copier that's definitely about to jam."
We'll be featuring submissions in upcoming posts, and yes—anonymity is always an option if you want to protect your professional street cred. 😉
📬 How to Submit
Just drop your moment in the comments, DM us on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, or email us at marketing@teacherbuilt.com.
Be as short or detailed as you like. One-liners, mini-stories, or full rants are all welcome. We'll curate the best ones to share with the teaching world—because trust us, someone else has definitely been there too.
Let's laugh, cry, and commiserate together. Because...
You might be a teacher if... you immediately thought of five stories just while reading this.
